It is no exaggeration to say that there is something to do every single day of the year in New York. Along with a huge variety of annual public festivals celebrating everything from film to food, the city has an enormous number of performance venues. Major Broadway musicals and intimate experimental dramas, music of every genre, author readings and poetry slams, blockbuster premiers and indie film screenings, museum and gallery exhibits, trade shows and guided tours – New Yorkers (and New York tourists) are spoiled for choice.
