The Buzz -- How haute can you get? Well, the sky (literally) is the limit as parade participants prance and promenade with hats, headdresses, and chapeaux that reach new heights each year. To wit: one lovely young lady sported a towering model of the NYC skyline atop her head; another, the Eiffel Tower. Still others let their furry friends get in on the act. While no longer solely for the social elite, the over-the-top displays of these seasonal flights of fancy (some with real birds!) delight the throngs that line the street to gasp and applaud.
