The Buzz -- The nation's largest public Halloween celebration welcomes more than 50,000 people each year, and participants march in Greenwich Village along Sixth Avenue from Spring Street to 21st Street. Attendees come dressed as, well, anything, and you'll also see towering papier-mâché puppets, stilt-walkers, jugglers, and more. If you don't feel like dressing up, you can always watch the festivities with the other 2 million people. Following the parade is a party at Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street), which delivers a great cap to the evening. |
