a great place
i took my daughter to Babbo for her birthday... we were treated to not only the best food and atmosphere but i went into the kitchen and asked Mario to come out and raise a glass with my daughter for her birthday, and he graciously joined us...Kudos to Mario and to those who enjoy a great restaurant... it's BABBO all the way

I have no idea what restaurant Chuck was talking about, but it wasn't Babbo. This is one of the loveliest rooms in NYC. The food is wonderful, the wine list sublime, and the service is top 10 in the entire city. I've eaten there three times, and it is consistently terrific.
