Excellent food!!! The owner is a bit rough around the edges, but that's OK. I have seen him smile once or twice. He just needs a vacation. Eat up so he can afford it. :)

Don't expect good treatment. Don't expect any substitutions to be received warmly. But do expect some of the best falafel this side of Jerusalem and some of the best soups in town.

As the Cliché goes "Big things come in small packages" This is definitely true about the Azuri Cafe. A very small place but the most delicious Middle Eastern food that you will find anywhere. The freshly made Pita is warm and soft and the Shawarma is seasoned perfectly. I recommend all the salads as well! Whenever I am in the city, I have to go to Azuri!

When you walk down 51st street Azuri looks like a hole in the wall cafe, but the food there is some of the best Middle Eastern food I've had anywhere in the world. This is the end of my review because it's lunch time and I need to call Azuri to get lunch.
