EAST VILLAGE. One of the East Village's best bets, Dok Suni's doesn't offer much in the way traditional Korean décor or showy atmosphere; however, what they do offer is a superb Korean menu that features a slew of tasty homemade dishes. Locals rave about the rice and meat casserole (bibimbop), pork spareribs, and pleasant surprises like jalapeno chicken. If you like what you try, don't forget that chef/owner Jenny Kwak has even published a cookbook or two.
