CHELSEA.   Maroons features a combination of Southern specialties, such as fried green tomatoes or collard greens, along with Jamaican fare like jerk chicken wings, cod fish fritters and Crispy Yuca Puffs appetizers. Jerk chicken is served, of course, but Maroons also ventures into authentic Jamaican in its Bossie's Curry Goat, served with white rice and succotash, and its Ms. Winnies' Jamaican Spicy Fried Fish, served with white rice and callalo. Save room for dessert because the selection includes hot bread pudding with vanilla rum puree, applesauce carrot cake, sweet potato pie, apple pie, pecan pie and many more! I love this place. The grits are good. The people who serve you are very nice. I am having my birthday party their in April 2005. I cannot wait to have dinner there.

Maroons is the kind of place one loves to return to often. The owner and staff are always gracious and warm - the food is always delicious. We are working our way through the entire menu. You must go! The fried chicken is wonderful! Their brunch is also one of the best in town! We love Maroons!
