GRAMERCY.   Located off FDR Drive, the Water Club boasts an unmatched view of the East River, not to mention one of the neighborhood's best seafood menus – both of which make the place pretty popular with those from nearby Murray Hill and Gramercy as well as area business-types. The Water Club's interior bears a nautical theme, to be sure, but one that is tastefully done – no pirates or old nets here. Any meal should start off with the lobster bisque, which is a favorite of the regulars. In the warmer months, the patio area offers an ideal setting for a romantic dinner. Reservations suggested.
