CHELSEA.   This Meatpacking District staple has been delighting hungry patrons since 1868. Over the years, the restaurant's legend has only grown, from the unique décor that literally depicts the history of NYC and antique brass lamps to the well-dressed, professional waitstaff and delicious steaks. Surprisingly enough, at this very American steak house, the steak of choice is their Kobe steak, which will cost you a little over one Ben Franklin.
