3. Aquagrill

This restaurant was chic and delicious. The service is exceptional with very friendly waiters. The atmosphere was wonderful-we even saw a man propose to his girlfriend. The experience at Aquagrill could not have been any better.

The BEST seafood we've ever had! It was astounding to see their daily oyster selections, 30 different oysters! The waiter helped us and made wonderful suggestions. The room, service, wine list and general ambiance could not have been more romantic and polished but comfortable and relaxed. I recommend this restaurant highly.

Personally, this restaurant is a bargain. You get the best oysters, fresh fish, and great wine at reasonable prices. You can't beat that in Manhattan.

It's too bad more people don't just ask chef's to do what they wish (degustation) for the table. A must do for this restaurant (Hope I don't upset the Chef for that comment). Chef Marshall’s presentations and flavors have reserved a top spot on my go-to list for amazing flavors and style amongst others like La Bernardin and Jean Georges. Our service staff, lead by Jennifer Harris, was impeccable even through the tightly placed tables. Well done!!

It was fantastic. I have never experienced such great fine dining . I recommend that when you go to New York you eat at the Aquagrill.

It was horrible.

Sit at the bar and order a spicy Bloody Mary (ask for extra horseradish!), and choose from a large selection of fresh raw oysters from around North America. Try one from each location! Not cheap, but delicious and also a fun place to relax on a weekend afternoon, while watching the local Soho-ums and tourists pass by. A Mystery Traveler GL favorite!!
