I worked at Wylers on Madison Avenue 25 Years ago and THAT was the high price category in Manhattan. The Manhattan Art & Antique Mall is the top level of antiques in Manhattan with Sensible prices. The Mall on 23rd has mid level antiques by transient dealers . If you want Victoriana to the 1960's. If you are looking at this mall based on prices you are missing the rarity of its pieces, ranging from Georgian Sterlings to Neolithic Chinese sculptures. I know of a place in LA that has phone number prices but the items are so rare it makes sense. This last reviewer might prefer the less reputable resale dealers but the MA&AM has only established and reeputable dealers who have been in the field for decades. Some of hem are passed down in the family. The first reviewer should take the time to get to know who she is reviewing and what the items are before blasting off about it. Sounds like a flea market hunter to those of us who know the field.

If you don't go on the weekend so many stores are closed, it's a waste of time. The prices are much higher that the Mall on 25th St.
