7. Montclair Art Museum

The Montclair Art Museum has over 15,000 items in its permanent collection, primarily from 18th-20th century American artists such as John Singer Sargent, Edward Hopper, Robert Motherwell, Andy Warhol, George Segal, Louise Nevelson, and Margaret Bourke-White. In addition, the Native American collection includes a number of particularly good examples of jewelry and basketry; contemporary Native American artists are also well represented.
