3. Botto House / American Labor Museum

HALEDON.   Housed in the 1908 Botto House National Landmark, the American Labor Museum has a collection of photographs, union memorabilia, tools and household artifacts which document the Paterson silk strike in the early 1900's. A good display giving a glimpse at the lifestyle of a generation of working-class immigrants. One floor is devoted to historical displays, and a second floor has contemporary exhibits reflecting the issues of immigrants and working-class people of today.   (© 10Best)
