DOWNTOWN.
With connections to Amtrak, NJ Transit, Hudson Bergen Light Rail, and the NYC subway system, this 1930s Art Deco transit hub serves more than 70,000 commuters daily. Built in 1933, this Newark train station is 293 feet long and retains many of it's origianl architectural details.

Very helpful staff in the information booth. Plenty of police to help you feel safe. Only question, why did they name this station Penn Station, too? (Same same as 34th Street New York City Penn...) [The] police give tickets (zero tolerance) to private cars pulling into the taxi lane, which was a bummer!
