5. Open Doors Studio Tour

The Buzz -- In October, Newark's gallery scene becomes the toast of the town. Artists from all over get a chance to showcase their work at various venues, from the highly-regarded City Without Walls to the Firehouse Gallery on Academy. Participating galleries are located throughout the city, with the largest concentrations of them located around Military Park, the Newark Museum and Washington Park.
