1. Cherry Blossom Festival

The Buzz -- Each spring, locals look forward to this fun festival celebrating the beauty of the season. Visitors flock here to see Newark in full bloom and take part in the festivities. The main event is a family carnival with music, dancing and arts and crafts, but related activities are held throughout the week. The Cherry Blossom Run includes a 10K, children's run and run for people with disabilities, and there's also an annual bicycle tour and concert.
