Newark is home to some landmark bars that are part of the city's tradition as well as some trendy new lounges and eateries. While it's not a city known for its nightlife, locals will tell that if you find the tried and true favs, good beer, tasty cocktails, savory grub and a good times are to be had by all. Among these is Krug's Tavern in Ironbound, where patrons chow down on the kitchen's famed burgers and onions rings, washed down with an icy beer, of course.
