Casa Vasca is considered one of the best Spanish restaurants in Newark, and it is certainly one of the busiest. Known for a Spanish-Basque menu that includes wonderfully presented seafood fare and succulent meat dishes. Features a full bar, comfortable dining room and excellent service. Business casual.

Old Timer
I must say that, visiting Casa Vasca started for me in late 1980's. Over the many years , i have contiune to visit when i can. I now live in No. Va. When i return to NJ, no matter what part of the state i'm in, Casa Vasca here i come. Here's to a truly wonder place not only to enjoy the wonderful food, but also the people. I wish we had u here. We've only been there once but are looking forward to returning. Excellent food and service, and a very friendly atmosphere. Fantastic seafood selection. The wait staff was very attentive. Even though the restaurant was very busy with 95 to 100% of the tables in use, it seemed like someone on the staff was constantly looking after us to make sure that we had everything that we needed. We will definitely return to Casa Vasca the next time we are in the area.

Casa Vasca is also one of my favorites. I've been going there for years and I can say that it's one of the few places that i've never been let down. Very large selection od daily specials that you can't find or beat anywhere.
