8. River Grill

Natural light off the Hudson River spills into the dining room setting the oak furnishings aglow. White linens and snowy china showcase the careful presentation of New American cuisine from chef-owner Mark Mallia. The menu changes to use only the freshest, seasonal ingredients, but you might find littleneck clams steamed with chorizo, a goat cheese and smoked scallop salad or seafood paella. The proximity of the water informs many of the choices, but for those who prefer them, rack of lamb and other choice meats are available.
