If you plan to take in the contemporary masterworks at Dia: Beacon, make sure to leave enough time to stroll down Main Street past the museum to see, touch and perhaps purchase your own art or collectible. This Main Street has seen a major revitalization in the past few years and the museum has anchored a burgeoning art scene replete with galleries that stay open late on second Saturdays.
