Franklin D. Roosevelt Home

Start at the visitor center for the 22-minute film, A Rendezvous With History, to introduce yourself to the Roosevelt experience. Then, tour the house known as Springwood, home to FDR, the only President elected to four terms. He was also the first president to start an official library. The Presidential Library & Museum is maintained by the National Archives & Records Administration and contains exhibits on FDR and Eleanor. Take a shuttle to Top Cottage to stand where the President held talks with various world leaders.
