3. The Bridge Hotel

The Bridge is well known for its good Sunday lunches, live music, and beer garden. This award-winning pub offers views of both the Tyne and Castle Garth, and inside, the heavy oak tables in the roomy public area are divided by stained glass windows and surrounded by ornate fixtures, marble surfaces, and brass accents.
