4. Rendez Vous Restaurant

New restaurant, lounge and bar, opposite central station Newcastle. Special touches include food bought from local suppliers such as Hexham beef. The newly designed restaurant also includes a glazed wall with etchings of local icons such as the Tyne Bridge and Angel of the North. Food is straightforward and reasonably priced. Staff typically Geordie friendly with a few foreign workers. Nice new option for the city centre.
