2. Tandoori Nights

Restaurant with a warning
Travelled from Ireland on the 22/5/09 for a long weekend. Took your advice and made a Restaurant reservation at the Tandoori Nights. Arrived to find that there was no record of our reservation. No apology, we were told we could have a table however we would have to be finished within an hour as they had a booking for 40 people. Expressed my anger and was just leaving when they came up with a table. Became clear very quickly that they were under pressure to have us finished within the hour. My main course went back because it was not what I order, what came back was even further removed from what I had ordered. Tandoori Nights restaurant had one focus the night we visited and that was their group of 40. My wife and I were simply a nuisance and this was very evident from the time we arrived to the time we left. Saturday night was a much nicer experience in a different restaurant and it is now clear that there are some beautiful restaurants in Newcastle. Stay away from Tandoori Nights. Adrian
