3. Crab Cooker

If you're looking for white linens, tuxedo-clad servers, and candelabras, quirky Crab Cooker probably isn't for you. But, if it's good, home-cooked crustaceans you crave, that's a whole different story. Nautical decor (yes, that's a shark hanging from the ceiling!) dominates the corner eatery, and families flood in for – you probably guessed it by now! – fresh Newport Beach seafood, specifically Pacific-caught Dungeness crabs and Alaskan red king crab legs. Budget seafood at full service prices. I was also not impressed by the 8oz plastic dixie cup the serve with their drinks, except wine those glasses are even smaller.
