2. On the Twenty Restaurant

Was Hoping for Better
My boyfriend and I were visiting Niagara Falls for the day and I wanted to wander outside the typical tourist trap resturants for a nice lunch. I chose On the Twenty based on the comments from this site. It's not a bad drive from the Falls. The town is very cute. I'm glad we made the journey but was disappointed in the restarant for two reasons: the service and the value of the food. Our waitress was awful. At one point another server took our orders because our original waitress just left us. We went through the whole meal and decided we wanted desert. We sat and waited and waited until finally the server who was working with the table next to us came over and asked if our waitress had come by. We said no and said we would like to order desert. She told us ok, I'll pass it along, sometimes the servers get backed up. I thought that was very odd. We expected to pay a little more than normal for the meal, but didn't think it was worth what we paid. We both got a glass of wine, entrees and desert and the total bill was 62 dollars. We eat out often and try restuarants similar to this one and both commented the food was only worth about half that amount, especially for lunch.
