18. Grand Illumination Parade

The Buzz -- Follow the crowd to downtown Norfolk for the Grand Illumination Parade. This parade is the premier Norfolk event for jump starting the holiday season. Beforehand, guests can watch various performers as they stroll from place to place, including carolers, mascots and many others. Thousands of spectators then descend upon downtown to watch the parade, which includes lighted floats, marching bands, giant balloons, horses, dancers, miles of lights and, of course, Santa Claus himself. Arrive early to get the perfect spot.
