4. Elizabethan House Museum

This 16th-century Tudor building was once home to a wealthy merchant. Today, the home is adorned with a charming array of period furnishings and is open for the public to explore. This house is the actual site where the execution of King Charles I was planned, and this historic event is reflected in an informative display.
