Since 1990 Adlard’s has created a classic, enduring restaurant in Norwich. Others have come and others have gone, not surviving the brutal industry. But the main lesson from that last TV exposure was that nothing stands still and if you mark time, you go backwards. To keep the restaurant fresh and not ‘tired’, there is a pot of paint and brush in the cupboard ready to use. To keep the restaurant modern and fine tuned, decor and under cloths must be changed, pictures are rotated, floors must be buffed and varnished, chairs must look new - and, of course, the food. Apart from that, the ethos has a human input as well. Adlard’s is a ‘looking-after-you-experience’ from the staff. The table is yours for the night or lunchtime. There is a time to relax and enjoy our brilliant food and wine. The pace is in your hands. You are the conductor, we are the orchestra. Website: Visit the Adlard's website » |
