I recently visited number 12 with my boyfriend initially for a quick drink but the menu sounded lovely so we went back for a second visit and ate in the restaurant upstairs. I couldn't fault the place at all. The food was brilliant, especially the steak, and the staff were really friendly too - something quite rare...

This is a fantastic cafe right by the cathedral and the Maids Head hotel. Coffee is fresh and breakfast menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Not the quickest service - but it was busy - and the quality was superb. My tip: scrambled egg and haloumi - gorgeous.

Really enjoyed my visit here - great freshly-made coffee, local produce used to make my sandwich and fairtrade chocolate!!!! My partner is always popping in for a smoothie too!
