3. Museum of Costume and Textiles

This museum, housed in a spacious townhouse near the castle, showcases 200 years of costumes set in authentic period rooms that cover the years 1790 to 1935. The elaborate, theme display areas include the locally important machine and handmade lace – lace making has been one of the city's biggest industries for centuries.
