This pub is a must! Said to be the oldest bar in England, this inn was built into the side of a cave in 1189. It got its name thanks to the knights who stopped in here on their way to the Crusades back in the Middle Ages! Now you can enjoy the house brew, Ye Olde Trip Ale, and a meal with Yorkshire pudding or cheesy potato casserole while cozying up in one of the cavernous rooms, which are complete with old clocks, low ceilings and fireplaces. The courtyard is still popular and has great views of the caves. Great service, too. Don't miss this one!
