5. Harley Gallery

The Harley Gallery offers a great glimpse into local contemporary arts and crafts. The changing program of exhibitions focuses on works by regional artists, and there is also a permanent exhibition displaying fine and decorative art from around the country. On certain days, artists-in-residence have open houses during which you can watch them at work in their studios. You can observe from the conception of a piece to its completion. Excellent venue for exhibitions. National touring exhibitions as well as their own curated ones. There are two galleries; a large one - usually used for large scale works and a smaller upstairs gallery. WE are rarely disappointed by the Harley's exhibitions ; they are often thought provoking , quirky and enjoyable!
