5. Pardee Home Museum

This Oakland museum is actually a turn-of-the-century Victorian home that houses the beautiful collections and artifacts of the famous Pardee family. The Pardee Home Museum in Oakland’s historic district has been an official (and beloved) city landmark since 1975. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens, and the inside is decorated with great works of art and original family furnishings.
