ROCKRIDGE.   Set on Restaurant Row on the East Bay, this small Japanese restaurant is a favorite sushi spot. Beautifully prepared rolls and nigiri are served in a sparse, modern dining room, and the sushi bar – where tuna and shrimp are favorites – is small but well-stocked, and you can see the chefs at work. A few cooked dishes are on the menu, including teriyaki beef and tempura options, but sushi is the big draw.   (© 10Best)
