This well-conceived museum displays a broad overview of moments and people from Oklahoma's history, doing so with thousands of artifacts and a wealth of interactive exhibits. See an original bison hide teepee, a Civil War-era cannon, historic quilts, and oil industry equipment. Learn about Oklahoma's role in the space program, its Native American tribes, and its art, sports, homesteading, along with much more. On the grounds are sculptures, an oilfield exhibit, and a walking tour of the Red River Valley.   (© 10Best)
