7. Oklahoma City Zoo

Oklahoma City Zoological Park is the oldest zoo in the southwestern US and is one of the top ten zoos in the country. The 100-plus acre park is home to more than 2000 exotic animals from around the world. The popular Cat Forest/Lion Overlook includes lions, tigers, jaguars, leopards, and meerkats. You can enjoy the escapades of chimps, orangutans, and gorillas at the Great Escape exhibit. The zoo also offers a variety of concessions, rides, tours, and other entertainment.   (© 10Best)
