This former industrial center is the geographic heart of Oklahoma City. The centerpiece of this district is the Bricktown Canal, constructed by excavating an old street. Many restaurants and clubs built patios to take advantage of the view and provide prime spots for people watching. Water taxis are a popular and enjoyable means of transport between shops, cafes, and nightclubs. (© 10Best) Visit this historic venue downtown for an afternoon of fun. See a game at the Southwestern Bell Bricktown Ballpark, catch a ride of the Oklahoma Spirit trolley system, or float the mile-long canal through a waterfall-and-forested park area under the interstate. Browse local art displays and shops before heading into one of the many restaurants. (from Southern Living) More Details for Bricktown DistrictUser Reviews for Bricktown District
