5. Harn Homestead

This 19th-century historic homestead was initially claimed during the Great Land Run of 1889. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Homes, the farmhouse is furnished with period pieces and is characteristic of its era. A one-room schoolhouse and a working farm are also located on site. Educational programs and day and overnight camps are available for youngsters.   (© 10Best)
