4. El Museo Latino

Whether it's Cinco de Mayo or National Hispanic Heritage Month, this museum's curator, Magelana García, is committed to exposing Latin culture to the Midwest. El Museo Latino has been in operation a number of years and showcases the works of local, regional, and international artists. There are a variety of educational programs scheduled, such as lectures, workshops, and bilingual tours. The museum also hosts a number of Latin cultural events, including an annual Almuerzo (breakfast) in May and dance performances by its Ballet Folklorico Mexicano troupe.   (© 10Best)
