8. Joslyn Castle

On the National Register of Historic Places, this Scottish-style castle, which originally was the home of George and Scott Joslyn, is a sight to see. The castle's exterior is made of limestone. The four-story structure includes 35 rooms and sits on over five acres of land. There is an exquisite conservatory designed by Jens Jensen. Although there are two public viewings per month, special tour appointments can be made.   (© 10Best)
