OLD MARKET.   This Mexican restaurant may create an intimate ambience (there are candle-lit tables and low lighting), but its hearty and filling cuisine is what keeps locals and tourists coming back. Trini's serves favorites like tacos, enchiladas, and burritos as well as a number of appetizers and desserts. Soups are a great starter here and include classics like menudo and caldo xochitl. There are also vegetarian choices available. The restaurant has margarita specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well.   (© 10Best)

Absolutely Awful
Waited over 30 minutes to be seated desptie several empty tables. Took over 20 minutes to get someone to wait on us and when we flagged her down she said 'I guess I'll take your order.' The staff were arguing through most of our time there. Over 30 minutes to get our food which was overcooked and tasteless. I know understand why all the positive reviews refer to the quality of the Margaritas. It would take a lot of alcohol to make the food or the restuarant enjoyable. Don't waste your time, money or tastebuds on this place.

Trini's is, by far, the best restaurant in Omaha. The service is wonderful. We go 3-4 times a month for the fajita's for 2. Very yummy, very flavorful. And the margaritas are delicious!

This is NOT Mexican food! Very bland and no flavor. After a very long wait, my food arrived cold. The chicken tasted as if it had been boiled in water, and that's it! Absolutely no flavor. The rice was consistent with Japanese sticky rice, again with NO flavor. The hamburger meat appeared to be boiled in water as well. We ended up eating only a couple bites each, then left and went down to Old Chicago for their nachos because we were starving. Very disappointed, would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Waste of time and money.
