OLD MARKET.   With its Passageway location, outdoor seating at this fine dining establishment is a sure thing. V. Mertz's offers an intimate and romantic ambience. The restaurant's outside seating includes the Passageway's brick walls and area fountain, while the indoor dining room is très chic. The decor includes white tablecloths, white covered chairs, and low lighting. Superb taste and atmosphere but table space too limited. One of the best in Omaha. Well worth the price for a special occasion

I have been to every fine restaurant in Nebraska, and V. Mertz is by far the best.

A fabulous restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere...and the Old Market area is a bonus.
