DOWNTOWN. This park is where you can find some of the best views of downtown Omaha. The park features a waterway, landscaped gardens, and a giant slide. Gene Leahy Mall offers a tranquil setting and is the perfect destination for an afternoon stroll. The park is also ideal for an impromptu picnic or people watching.

DOWNTOWN. Located along the banks of the Missouri River, this scenic park connects to the Gene Leahy Mall. Heartland of America Park is a landscaped, lighted facility with a pretty water fountain and various pathways. During the summer months, there is also a tour boat ride (costs only a quarter) that provides nice views of the skyline from the river. This is a nice place to view the river or simply grab a sandwich and enjoy lunch in the beauty of nature. During the warmer months, there are free Fri night concerts which start at 7pm.
