4. Flightdeck Air Combat Center

Hey, I went to flight deck a while ago with my friend jeff. I really didn't know what to expect as I've never really tried any kind of simulator before. It was crazy! I felt like I was actually flying and the dogfight was intense. The tower lets you know whats going on and help you a bit, plus the entire time you're in an actually f-16 cockpit with a canopy and everything! You can communicate through a headset at any time. This place is one of the best things I've ever done. They also offer squadrons so you can get a group together and fly so many times a month! I can't wait to go back it's the most fun I've ever had, and if anyone calls this a videogame they dont know what they're talking about its awesome!!! Thank you flight deck!

FlightDeck Air Combat is truely remarkable! I'm a real pilot from Ontario Canada and I walked in thinking this would be another "cheap shot to simulate flying". Let me tell you, this is definately NOT the case! Coming from Canada, I asked the controllers to set me up in a C/F-18 Hornet fighter (fighter jet of the Canadian Forces) as it is my dream aircraft I would love to fly, and without question, I was in a C/F-18! Sitting in the cockpit, my flight simulator gaming skills, which I imagined I would be using, jumped out of the cockpit and in came my real life flying skills. I was astounded that I was using my real life training in a simulator (something I have not been able to re-create since). If you want fun, excitement, or just want to blow your boss or best friend out of the sky, I highly recommend you give FlightDeck a call! My only problem with them is they're not in Canada!

The Flightdeck Air Combat Center is an awesome place! I went there for my birthday and they even gave me my favorite plane: the F-14 Tomcat in my first visit. If you go, at least get a delta mission, because the carrier landing is awesome! The fighting is even better than the landing! You can do most of the moves in the movies and even some no one has ever attempted(ex. looping while you take off so you land instead)! Even if you get shot down or something, you will come back to life! This place is the best place in the world!

Hi, My name is Andrew Ritter, I recieved a flight deck gift certificate for my birthday. It turned out to be the best gift i've even gotten, as the staff is very professional and nice. They make the experience that much better, from the moment you walk in you are in a whole other world. It's a great place for parents child and even grandparents alike. It's so much fun I would recommend this place to every to try at least once. If you try it once you'll be going back for more guranteed!

Flight deck. One of the best experiences I have ever had. Always wanted to be a pilot but scared of hieghts (not a good combination). anyways really great experince. Very realistic, super cool dogfights and the takeoffs and landing were awesome. A must do for any one who wants to fly Or who wants to do something very cool. Great job FlightDeck

Flightdeck Air Combat Center is great for all levels of flyers, from novice gamers to real pilots. There is no need for prior experience or knowledge. It is great fun and well worth the cost for an event you will never forget. From company parties to family nights, you can’t go wrong here. Very personable staff, very friendly, very comfortable and very professional service. I recommend this to anyone who likes planes. Don’t miss this hidden treasure in Orange County.

My friends and went here for a birthday party and we had a blast. Sure you can play a flight simulator with your ps or xbox on a dinky little tv. Here, with the large projector screen and the fighter jet like seat, you feel like your actually in the cockpit. This place is awesome.

Ppl that know me will tell you that my dream is to fly. Somehow, my Mother found Flightdeck and decided that it would be a perfect B-Day gift for me. It was the ultimate experience and beyond any flight sim that I have ever seen. That one day when I was invited to Flightdeck to fly their sim... was truly unique. The staff and the Fight Director personally walked me thru the entire process of what it takes to survive in a real dog fight senario and also allowed me to crash land on an aircraft carrier until I actually got it right. The realistic cockpits along with the formal training from the Flight Director make this sim absolutely, second to none. If you fly it alone or with others in your group... you will be amazed at the attention to detail all the way down to the flight suit and the helmet that is worn by real combat fighter pilots. If you want a realistic dog fight experience that cannot be matched by any other.... this is the place for you.

Ninety minutes of hair-on-fire dogfighting turned out to be the best souvenir from my active duty Navy experience. While inside the real cockpit, you'll say things like Yippee yo ki ya! and "Flight this is Hornet 3Zero5, what's the bearing on those four bogeys on my six? I was floored when they told me I had splashed ten enemy aircraft!

As an aviation fan, this place is a must! The pre-flight instruction is excellent and the cockpits are very authentic. You can create any flight senario you want......night carrier landings, Dogfight the instructors or other guests or just blow stuff up on the ground. The graphics are incredible and you can fight any one of a number of different aircraft. It's impossible not to get out of the cockpits without a big smile! The in-flight instructors are so helpful and anybody, regarding of flight or sim experience, will have a great time.

A group of us went to Flight deck to celebrate my 24th birthday. It was by far the best birthday to date! The whole experience was priceless! I managed to crash on all three landings...but the dog fighting was outstanding and unforgettable!!! I will never forget the adrenalin rush and sense of satisfaction and accomplishment as I shot down my boyfriends F-16! I can't wait to return for my next flight.

I just finished the 1 hour F-16 flight simulator and it was a wonderful experience. I was by myself and flew against one of the instructors and I had a blast. There was a group of 5 friends before me flying against each other and I could tell they had a fantastic time knocking each other out of the sky and talking trash over the radios the whole time. This is not some video game, you sit in an actual F-16 simulator cockpit with the real controls. The only thing missing here is the G-forces when you bank. If you have always wanted to fly a military fighter jet, check this place out, it is terrific.
