16. The Improv

BREA.   One of a national chain of improv comedy clubs, Brea's location isn't the largest, but it does have a lot going for it, including good technology and eager crowds. Among the performers who have elicited hearty belly laughs are Jay Mohr, Mike Epps, and Tommy Chong. Seating is generally first-come, first-served, and Friday and Saturday shows are 21+ only. Hilarious I have been to the Brea and Irvine Improv. I really like the Brea Improv because it is right in downtown Brea. If you decide not to have dinner at the Improv, there is plenty more to choose from. It's also nice to hang out downtown before the show then head to Yardhouse for drinks afterwards. I've enjoyed every show I've attended there, went home still laughing!
