We went to The Cellar for Valentines Day. It was the worst experience I've ever had. They packed us in so much that our neighbors could comment on our conversation. Also, the bucket of ice for our bottle of wine was across the restaurant because it could not fit next to our table. The servers were obviously trying to get everyone in and out. I could barely set my fork down to take a breath without somebody asking, "Are you done with that?" Then as they took my plate, the next plate was set down. I'd think for a $300 meal we would be able to take our own sweet time eating. Especially since the food was almost uneatable it was so bad. To top it off, they gave us a long-stem rose that was wilting and had holes in it from being eaten by bugs. I’m usually not very picky when it comes to restaurants, but I would not recommend The Cellar and I certainly will not be back.

The Cellar offers and exceptional wine list and the ambiance is without compare. I was a bit disappointed with the hospitality, however. There was a large party in attendance and as a result my party of 4 was not top priority. Other than that, the evening was delightful....service was appropriately slow, so we enjoyed each other’s company and the wine.
