8. Stubrik's Steakhouse

Last week we had dinner for four at your steakhouse in Mission Viejo. We had a $50.00 gift certificate and expected your restaurant to be the best. The salad was ordinary, however, when the main meal was served, it was the most unappetizing meal we have ever seen. The recommended pork chop was swimming in dark gravy, the potatoes were gray and hard, the carrots were raw, and the plate was cold. All the other 3 meals were similar. Everything was cold and uncooked. When requesting to take it back and reheat it, we were told they had no microwave, and that everything was cooked in one pan. No wonder they covered it with gravy so you couldn't see what was under it. The bill came to well over the $50.00, and I would be embarrassed to tell the giver of the gift certificate how bad things were.

As a person who has frequented this establishment for quite a few years now I can say that it's not as great as it uesed to be...The once great staff has now all been replace with mostly sub par people (with the exception of a few of the bartenders) and the prices of the food there, although still great food, has really skyrocketed.

I have been to Stubrik's on three different occasions each time with different people. All who loved it. One time we had a party of ten with a two-year old and everyone enjoyed there selves. The food is always wonderful and nobody has ever gotten a bad plate. I give it an A++
