10. Trabuco Oaks

TRABUCO CANYON.   A family-friendly place with a strict "wear a tie at your own risk" policy, Trabuco Oaks has been an Orange County treasure since 1968, when the Sherod family opened a small snack bar for campers at nearby O'Neill Park. Although the scale of the restaurant and the size of the menu have grown over the years, regulars are quick to point out that the casual atmosphere and neighborly service haven't changed one iota since the early days. From mammoth sirloin steaks and hand-cut French fries to kid-portioned, homemade spaghetti and hand-battered chicken, Tabuco can sate just about any appetite. The food is awesome. I'm very fuss about how my steak is cooked. They get it right every time. I love this place!
