Orange County Zoo

ORANGE. Once home to dearly departed Samson the Bear, Orange County Zoo is a terrific place to spend the afternoon with the family. It's not only inexpensive, but it's also a terrific place to get up close and personal – at a safe distance, of course! – with some of California's most recognizable wildlife, from harbor seals and North American beavers to mountain lions and black bears.
